Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to websites, applications, email, social media accounts and other systems that BRGRBY LLC, doing business as Burger Tech ("Burger Tech," "we," "us"), hosts, manages or operates for you. It is part of our Terms of Service. It exists to keep your business, our other clients and the internet safe.

The short version: use our services for lawful business, don't harm others, and don't put us in a position where our hosting or accounts get blocked.

You may not use our services to

Break the law or harm others

  • Violate any law or regulation, including consumer protection, advertising, privacy and licensing rules for your industry
  • Sell or promote illegal products or services
  • Harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone
  • Publish content that exploits or endangers minors in any way

Infringe other people's rights

  • Use text, images, video, music, logos or software you don't have the rights to
  • Publish someone's private information without their permission

Send spam or deceptive messages

  • Send bulk email or text messages to people who haven't agreed to receive them, or that don't follow CAN-SPAM, the TCPA and similar laws
  • Buy or rent email or phone lists for marketing
  • Run phishing, scams, fake reviews or misleading advertising

Attack or abuse systems

  • Distribute malware, viruses or harmful code
  • Try to access systems, accounts or data you're not authorized to access
  • Run denial-of-service attacks, port scans or security tests without written permission
  • Use hosting resources for cryptocurrency mining, proxy or VPN services, file-sharing of unlicensed content, or anything that unreasonably slows down shared systems

Risk our accounts with platforms

  • Violate the rules of the platforms we manage for you, such as Google, Meta, TikTok or payment processors, in a way that could get the account suspended

Your responsibilities

  • Keep the logins we give you secure, and don't share them outside your team
  • Tell us right away if you believe an account or site has been compromised
  • Make sure anyone you give access to follows this Policy

What we'll do if there's a problem

If we believe this Policy has been broken, we may:

  1. Contact you and ask you to fix the issue
  2. Remove or disable the content causing the problem
  3. Temporarily suspend the affected service, especially if there's a security risk or legal issue that needs immediate action
  4. End the service if the issue is serious or keeps happening

Where possible, we'll contact you before taking action. In urgent situations, such as an active security threat or legal demand, we may act first and contact you right after. We may also report illegal activity to the authorities.

Reporting a problem

To report abuse, spam, copyright infringement or a security issue involving a site or service we manage, email info@burger.tech with as much detail as you can, including links and screenshots. We review every report.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version.
